I started playing Prey (2017) (via Steamplay if anyone but me cares), and it's really reeling me in.
So far, it's got a very Alien: Isolation feel - for a number of reasons, but mainly that the player character is very weak in comparison to the hazards she faces, making the gameplay very tense and requiring a lot of caution from the player.

In addition to being one of the very few games that uses the control icons for the steam controller, I think this is the only one I've seen that uses the grip buttons in the official default control scheme.
If they had replaced the controller in the character's apartment with the one the player was using, that would have been next level. 😄

Good thing I have to push the button TWICE before blowing up the entire space station from within! Safety first!

Wow, what a great game! Prey is the best immersive game I've played since Alien: Isolation - in fact, it's like A:I and Dishonored had a magnificent, enthralling baby.
The story is rich and engaging, and the player makes a lot of choices which affect very concretely how events unfold. The environments are beautiful, detailed, and highly interactible. The gameplay is smooth and tense, and gives the player lots of opportunity and motivation for creativity.

@Tak Try Mooncrash then too. Same game with different mechanics.
