At the far corner of pianos/lighters, you find the hardcore experimental musicians, following in the steps of Annea Lockwood, setting pianos on fire.
Lockwood's most infamous piece of the 60s or 70s is called 'Tiger Balm', which includes a lewd recording.
I had heard of it, but never actually heard it when I met Lockwood in San Francisco having a coldest-winter-I-ever-spent experience of foggy summer weather, so lent her a coat for a few days and she posted me the record!

Anyway, Lockwood was possibly the most radical of all the boomer composers and everyone should know her excellent music.
