does anyone know of a good/cheap place to host a python flask server?

relatedly: opinions on flask? opinions on using python for a (very simple) web service?

I need to make a web service that exposes ~4 api endpoints, and can let you schedule tasks to run every X minutes/hours/whatever

@SuricrasiaOnline I love flask, lot of great libs too (flask-sqlalchemy, flask-security-too, etc.)

@SuricrasiaOnline it‘s neat, real quick to get going with. we use it for some stuff at work.

@SuricrasiaOnline this is exactly how Apache Airflow started 😭

but seriously i built a successful medium-volume HTTP API server with occasional GUI bits around Flask, SQLAlchemy, and Celery at my last company, and it was easy to work with both solo and on a small team. pretty good imo.

iirx there's a flask bakery package that, if you know all the endpoint content ahead of time, you can package it all as a static site. But it only works for read-only API content, and for static sites.
