I wish I didn't have to turn off compositing to get responsive windows with this many of them

I have to assume it's the number of windows that causes issues, because even with my 350 Firefox tabs the CPU pressure is only about 1% (though memory usage is another story, but I have zram to spare and memory pressure is literally 0 so)

("pressure" is referring to Linux's pressure stall information, in this case the "some" readings as described in kernel.org/doc/html/latest/acc)


I replaced the load average line in htop with the CPU pressure stall meter, and I added another row to fit both zram and disk I/O meters in on the left, so I had room to fit in memory pressure as well. Here's what the whole stats section of my htop looks like now
