I am almost at a point financially where I could self-host something. I still don't have the presence of mind for it after being on the edge so long. I had to stop self-hosting WordPress years ago because worrying about updates and security tipped me over the edge emotionally.
Also, I don't want to. Like, really, really, really don't. And I have the good fortune of knowing how! I got a good tech education (2 year, but still). I've computered all my life.

@Riley I sort of enjoy computers, but even then trying to stay on top of all the changes is extremely tiring. I only really got good with them because of a childhood fascination along with a +10 intuition/comprehension boost from my autism. Which also means I can’t teach others to computer to save my life because my view of computers is very different from theirs.
