welp, time to go implement a bunch of shit that smarter people have already implemented better, based on a specification that is full of mistakes and errors, because that's the way i roll
on the docket for today is “given a decimal number, return its canonical representation as a string” and other such endeavours
(it's good practice though for getting me to remember everything about Swift and writing good code)
@LadyKIBI Since programming is just a hobby, all of my time doing it is spent reimplementing things that have already been done. But I'm fine with it since I'm learning about how different things work, which makes me appreciate the ideas and technology even more.
I used to try and force myself to learn more esoteric things, and it just wasn't as much fun. Maybe one day, but for right now, retreading proven ground works for me.
