So #fiberarts elephants! Would you be up for some sort of coordinated #knitting (or general #fibrearts) meetup on here? Like we decide on a time, everyone brings a project, a nice cup of tea or favorite drink and then we tell each other what we are working on, show pictures, talk fiber.
We would need to find a time that is working for multiple time zones but we could give it a try 👾 🐑

@Jules I like the idea, but I have 25-30 pages to write before the end of the month, so I'd prefer May or general summer myself. (and general #fiberarts since I'd probably crochet) If It's past finals, I'm pretty free, though I do go to bed pretty early due to lack of spoons. So Morning or early afternoon would be best for me.

Okay so there is definitely some interest! I like that :D Now we need to decide on how to do it.
We should start by finding a time that's working (there are already european and american elephants interested, maybe more will join, so this is not trivial?) and then a date (and we could make it a regular thing once a month after we tried and liked it).
Let's tag it #fiberverse like @cwebber suggested 
If it's too hard to find a time for everyone, we could also make it a fiberday and everyone joins whenever the time is right in their corner of the world. It's not like mastodon has to be live ^^
But if we could manage to find a time that's working, I would prefer it this way.
