This is not a statement on all the #meta talk. I'm just being pragmatic because this project hardly works, when we can't connect.
btw, I just opened another issue on gitlab regarding our communication channels. I would love a nice and cozy IRC channel!

@Jules actually I've got Pidgin as my mate was trying to chat to me on XMPP but never got that to work, think it should work with IRC
@Jules I'm still kinda surprised that that hasn't happened yet.
@Jules what about one of those matrix rooms or whatever riot connects too? (Just suggesting this as I've already got the client on my computer)
