Monsterpit currently has three admins, but only a lone demon to manage the actual server and software.

also: since society guesses exactly one gender when you're born, and then you find out what genders are, and then you get the chance to switch, transness is basically a variant monty hall problem with an infinite number of doors

just got inspired: instead of explaining cis and trans in terms of "assigned" gender, i'm gonna start explaining them like
you are cisgender if society managed to guess your gender correctly when you were born
otherwise you're transgender

if you find yourself on an involuntary psych hold, utter these magic words and then stop talking: "I want to designate a patient advocate"
it informs them that you know what your rights are.
let the patient advocate do the talking at the court session, they will try to trip you up in cross-examination.
document all interactions with doctors, they are the only people that are legally forbidden from lying to you to gain compliance. nurses and other staff are not only allowed to lie, but taught to lie to gain compliance. catching a doctor in a lie is an immediate ticket to freedom and is easier than you might think, but the trick is to document all interactions.
under no circumstance should you ever agree to voluntary commitment: if you do that, you throw out all legal protections and they will keep you there as long as they feel they can get away with.
