Musing about attraction (3/3)
Attraction, to me, is about seeing someone's spirit regardless of the interface that connects-and-separates us, be it a pair of screens or a pair of bodies. Show me your joy and your sorrow. Show me your /aliveness/ and be beautiful in my eyes.
I should make one of those #introduction posts sometime, and I suppose now is a time.
First things first: I'm a dragon. Not physically, but in all the ways that matter. "Dragon" is also the simplest way to describe my gender.
If you're using the MtG color wheel, I'm Blue/Green/Black.
If you should ever find yourself asking "what would Jssra do", a good first answer is "gather more information".
Most of my posts are replies.
PSA: if a user habitually boosts stuff you don't want to see, you can turn off boosts just for them without unfollowing them
view their profile in the regular masto UI and you'll see a "Hide boosts from X" in the hamburger menu
this can make the whole experience a lot less annoying, but it's not well-known!
I would like to start spreading the word of good books with excellent depictions of dragons. Not necessarily dragons who are "good" but who are more than an evil force. Reply to me with the hashtag #ReadingDragons if you have a recommendation!
