I'm working on a set of "wellness" settings for #Pinafore, inspired by Tristan Harris' Center for Humane Technology (https://humanetech.com/). What kind of settings would *you* like to have in Mastodon? Examples:
- grayscale mode
- no unread notification counts
- no follower/boost/fav counts
- no push notifications
- no boosts/favs/follows in home/notification timelines
I'd love your feedback! Tracking this here: https://github.com/nolanlawson/pinafore/issues/1192
I belive there is a small demon named Fred. They live in every automatic coffee machines, the big ones no small home ones. Fred's house is a cube. I like to think they have a comfortable arm chair and read in between making cups of coffee for poeple. It is the same Fred in every coffee machine. Please thank Fred next time you get a coffee and if is bad, well they are a demon.

Fwd: FW: In God We Rust
A professor is lecturing his class: "Rust is a systems programming language with strong types."
In the back of the room, a brave student stands up and says, "Professor, if Rust truly is a 'systems' language as you say, does it support Macintosh System 6?"
The class murmurs, and the professor begins "No, but..."
The student continues, "What about System 7?"
"N-no, those aren't really-" the professor stammers.
"Rust doesn't sound like much of a 'systems' language to me, professor."

On visiting the Gold Pavilion Temple in Kyoto, Douglas Adams was impressed at how well the 14th-century structure had weathered the passage of time. His Japanese guide told him that it hadn’t weathered well at all; in fact it had burned to the ground twice in the 20th century.
“So this isn’t the original building?” Adams asked.
“But yes, of course it is.”
The snow has been geting heavier all day. I love it.
