I'm basically setting up some specific times/sessions where people can come to me for help and I can try to support people in a mutual aid style.

Can you give an example scenario?

Also, if it's *mutual* aid, that means the people who chat with you help you as well right? so what do you want help with/what kind of help etc?

@fallerOfFalls so far its basically gonna be an online chat with me although in hoping that eventually it will grow into a support network of people who want to help each other out.

Yes mutual aid does involve other people helping BUT at this point I'm not even going to consider that. If someone extends their help then I will gladly accept it, but it's not essential to book a chat session and get some support. 😊

I'm not clear yet what I could be helped with by a stranger. But being able to help others would help me indirectly, if that were possible.

@fallerOfFalls yeah you've missed Sundays chat session, especially seeking as its Monday in the UK. Lol. I'm also in the process of moving house so won't be starting up the sessions until the 23rd April. In the meantime you could always send me and e-mail and we could have a chat and get to know each other. 😊

I need to make that really important but scary phonecall but its hard.

So you'd book a chat session with me and I'd be there to guide you through with scripting things to say, or finding alternative ways to communicate with the people/person, or even just poke you after a few days to remind you to do it.

Things like that.
One thing I'm envisioning a lot of is people who are lonely wanting just to chat with someone.
