i've been playing stardew valley again and i was looking at mods and i am NOT over the mod that lets you buy the community center rewards
that option is LITERALLY already in the game if you sign up for a joja membership and the whole POINT is that if all you want to worry about is maximizing profit and ease you can align yourself with the capitalist megacorp and the only real downside will be a lack of personal growth through exploration as well as a disconnect from your community
so someone saying "actually i want to be able to focus on profit margins but without any of the negative impacts of capitalism, i just want the forest spirits to recognize the value of money" is just. it's something lmfao.

A group of Black revolutionaries have started an autonomous zone named #OrishaLand in #Austin, #Texas. They've already done a lot to fight #gentrification by organizing material support & political education for the local Black community. It's a real glimmer of hope for what has otherwise been a shitty #BlackHistoryMonth.
