So, I think after Thunderball, Never Say Never Again, and The Spy Who Loved Me, I'm out of #JamesBond #Bond movies with cool nature scenes. Am I wrong? Looking for recommendations.
@kara_dreamer I've never seen that one actually....the book was bad enough I've not wanted to. is it any good? @DialMforMara
@Canageek @DialMforMara honestly I think it's pretty awful and boring, and you have to put up with Connery made up to look Japanese for some reason I was never entirely clear on. on the other hand a lot of imagery from the film has entered spy-movie folklore, like the volcano set and Donald Pleasance's appearance as Blofeld
@kara_dreamer @Canageek does he still have the bored cat?
@DialMforMara @Canageek I _think_ so? it's been forever...oh, just verified it by finding a publicity still. http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/jamesbond/images/c/c2/YOLT_Blofeld.png/revision/latest?cb=20131018081140
@Canageek #TheWorldIsNotEnough has a fair amount of outdoor scenes, but I don't know if that qualifies it as cool. It's a bit subpar as far as #JamesBond #movies go, but it may be #PierceBrosnan's second best.
@Canageek been a while since I've watched "You Only Live Twice" but isn't there some good location shooting in Japan in that one?
