My partner @DialMforMara has started a new blog series where she revisits games that came out when she was young. There's lots of retro gaming articles from people like me with loads of nostalgia, but this is the first one I've seen by someone who missed out on most games due to the fact they thought games were for boys.

@Canageek I didn't even think games were for boys. I had a strict distinction between the kinds of games my mom let me play, which were computer games, and the kinds she didn't, which were video games (even if they were on PC). Computer games were safe and either educational, puzzly, or adventury; video games made Tipper Gore cry.
