I mean, on one hand, yeah, epic IS ripping PUBG off. He did invent 100 person deathmatch with stealth elements, squads, and starting without a weapon.

On the other hand, I like seeing new takes on games and think there should be the freedom to do that.

It would be nice if there was like, a way to stop other people from copying you for 3-5 years, as opposed to forever (trademark, copyright) or 20 (patent).

@Jo But I love seeing new takes on games, but it sucks when someone with a legit new idea like PUBG (it really isn't the same as previous deatgmachtes. Closest I can think of is DayZ, and even then that isn't close) gets their lunch eaten by a cash in.
