"Reptiles!" read the sign, an axolotl featured prominently in the front window.

@chr @nightpool In case you weren't already aware, it appears there's a problem with (audio?) media not being playable from the Mastodon UI because of the cross-origin content nightmare:

Access to audio at 'cybre.ams3.digitaloceanspaces.' from origin 'cybre.space' has been blocked by CORS policy: No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.

And here's the I made to play on the Help screen. I figured I'd share it here because there are some people who might never look at that screen.

Here's the I've made for the title screen! It's spooky and foreboding to set the tone for trying to escape a dream labyrinth!

Well..... I get up for work in about 6 hours, but I got to spend 3 hours tonight working on sound effects and music for my game! I'm going for a spooky sort of vibe and I'm getting pretty good results so far!

It's so nice when something you've been struggling to figure out just clicks into place!

Yikes, work has really gotten in the way of working on this. I got a lot of enemy movement in, but I still have a long way to go and a lot more levels to make before I'll be happy enough with it. I just hope I'll be able to get that done before the is over...

I wish you could change *any* of the sound effects on the Apple Watch. The ding it makes is extremely irritating to me...

The place I work in Denver, Colorado is 2 senior web developers. We're looking for folks who are great with JavaScript and PHP, specifically working with VueJS and Laravel, respectively, though there's some flexibility to learn on the job if you're a fast learner and have used similar frameworks before (there was for me at least).

We've started returning to the office part time (I go 2 days a week), but the people there are super cool and fun. The company itself does building energy usage (benchmarking) consultation and has been branching out over the past few years to build software that helps manage energy use—that software is specifically what you'd be working on if you get this job.

It's currently a team of 5 developers (including myself) to work with, and the position itself will be for not only writing code but also also helping manage the team.

If you're interested, apply via Indeed here:

This lady across from me at the Apple Store lost "4 years worth of writing" for a book she was writing using the iPhone's Notes app because it didn't sync after switching phones. I can't think of a worse way to write a book, first of all, but second,

Back up your stuff!!!

I really need to double-check my posts before I send them. These typos are just embarrassing 😑

Sorry again for yet another delay, but if you haven't found The as an alternative to yet, so yourself a favor and go import your GoodReads account into there and enjoy!

Readlebee will take a slightly different approach than the other alternatives so it'll still be a relevant, but some of those other alternatives are very good now!

I think part of the reason working on Readlebee has been so hard is that I /hate/ the way I set up the code base. I don't care about doing it the "right" way anymore, I just want to get the app into a usable state, which means I'm gonna redo what I have in PHP instead of Node.

I think as long as I make sure I include hooks for i18n and a11y, I'll be headed in the right direction.

The ancient ruin's glyphs glowed unnaturally. This signaled to the maiden that it was time to go.

She hoisted the goat that had wandered off over her shoulders, ignoring it's bleats of protest.

The last thing I need right now, she thought to herself, is some kind of magical curse, or worse, mystical responsibility.

She bolted clear just as the light coalesced into a crown, clattering to the stones.

"Not today," she crowed, hurrying home.

Hey I don't know shit about , but I have a wallet only because Keybase gave a bunch away a couple years ago for some reason. Today I got a message that some random account wanted to initiate a transfer of this amount of (?), and looking at the Network Explorer shows the same account (wallet?) has initiated an awful lot of similar transfers at the same time.

Is this a scam somehow? (I mean, beyond the whole concept of cryptocurrency being a scam?)
