@Alamantus in Norway, the typical notice when resigning from a job is... three months πŸ˜…πŸ˜“ Depending on the circumstances it can feel pretty long.

@Alamantus Haha, I don't think it's that bad if you know and that's what you are used to. Actually, I'm usually stressed when I resign because I think of all the things I want to do before my last day. Will I have time? 😱

If I left after a week or two, or just days... that would be just "disappearing", you don't really have time to plan anything or close projects or train anyone to replace you in whatever you were doing.

It does often leave your employer in a lurch, especially if they don't have someone already on hand who could do your job... my manager is trying to get the job posted ASAP with the hope that I'll be able to help interview candidates πŸ˜‚ I'm more than happy to help with that, but I really need to get out of there before we fully switch to the new Magento system...
